I concepted and produced this opening animation after being inquired about doing an animation for a you tube channel. The name of the channel was The Golden Couch and after developing a few base design this one was chosen. I proceded to develope a few varions of the base design with more detail which are displayed above. After that I created the animation based off my orginal design.

This is a 3D logo type animation I produced after a personal week long exercise to develop a type treatment based on a definition everyday. Exoteric means a number of things but for the animation I choose to focus on part of its meaning which is simple using the streaming objects to visualize that progression.

----
This is a project I worked on because I liked using the blogging system JUX. It has a diffrent layout that purposely focuses just on the content you put up. After having used it for a month or so I decied to make the animation about the system and all the many ways you can post on it. They have a pretty cool logo so naturally I was drawn to use it and it became the containter for alll of the diffrent methods of posting. My goal was to make something quick and smooth that flowed well. Although the design is intentially flat the whole thing was developed in a 3D program and comopsited in After Effects.

-----
This is a short animation I did during the holidays as sort of animated thank you to people who follow me on various networks. The animation and scene development of the project was done over the course of a few days. The model of the robotic Nutcracker I modeled based off a drawing by Vince Chui. Using the drawing as a base I was able to skecth out the other perspective views to help me model the character. My orginal model design which is closer to the orginal image is above in red and yellow. I also created a rig for the whole character that allowed it to walk automatically and do other features like shoot easily.

This is a broadcast animation bump I animated for RITSportsZone while working as part of a team to develop a new broadcast package. The original concept was developed by another designer and I was tasked with building and animating the scene.

I found the Wijmo logo online through a random search and I liked the idea of a simple character as part of the main element of a logo so I decied to do a bit more research on the company. After browsing their site and understanding that they make web UI widigets I decieded to make a quick logo animation using their logo charater and bar graph as the main visual elmemnts. The animation overall took less then a day to do and I shared it via twitter and got the response back from someone at the company that it the animation capture the idea of what they do.
